CH Gallimore's Nubians Donna (Donna) - ++VV 86
06-06 - +VVV 84
American Nubian, Sire Just-Our-Luck Cody Dam Gallimore's Nubians Cry Baby
Donna is Jenny's baby, and anyone who has "met" her knows quite how spoiled she is. Donna made the trip to the 2004 National Show (and had ear problems in the mountains :)) and placed 19th out of nearly 50 does. Donna has 2 legs toward her permanent Championship, both earned as a 4 year old. Donna was bred to Gunnar in 2005, and produced 2 bucks and a doe (doe retained) Unfortunately, her problem kidding took its toll on her, and she has a permanent dorsal protrusion that takes away from her general appearance, but not from her diva attitude :) Another triplet problem kidding in 2007 cemented her permanent injuries, but still she trucks on, running like yearling to the top of the pasture whenever she sees the show trailer headed toward the barn :) Donna finished her permanent championship in 07, going 1x GCH, 1x RGCH and 1x BOB. Donna was also the 1st place aged doe at the District IV Nubian Specialty (pictured above). Donna is now officially retired, having had several difficult pregnancies and deliveries in a row.

Chazberry Lane Cera (Cera) -SOLD- 02-03 - VV+V 86

American Nubian, Sire Cricket's-Kids MT Cup O' Joe *B Dam CH Gallimore's Nubians Donna
Being Donna & Joey's 2005 kid, I should have known that Cera would stay. When I decided to cut back on the Nubians, I figured that she'd go, but then I actually looked at the poor little kid and realized I couldn't part with her. Seemingly a perfect melding of her mother and grandma Mocha, this kid held great promise for the future. Cera was kept dry for 2006, and kidded with a single buck kid in 2007. She stayed home for the first part of the year, but once I brought her out, she's placed in the top of her class every time out. I'm very excited about seeing her with another freshening under her "belt" Cera was bred to Dmitri and gave me two lovely doelings. These girls are super dairy and I just can't decide which one of them I like better. Cera herself has blossomed, however, with our limited show schedule this year, we've dried her up and she's staying at home keeping Mama Donna company :)

Chazberry Lane Gunnar Tasha (Tash)
American Nubian, Sire Willow Run Valmont Gunnar Dam Willow Run Valmont Tasma
I was told that this was one brother-sister breeding that I should try, and I'm sure glad I did. Gunnar & Tasma gave me triplet does, and Tasha was an obvious keeper. Pure white like her dam, she has the strong structure and power of her dam, but with more refinement and cleanliness. This will be a doe to look out for in the future. I was desperate to have her appraised this year, but apparently not desperate enough to make sure that her registration papers and the tattoos in her ears matched :) I hemmed an hawed about breeding Tash this year, because I was so anxious to see her freshen, but in the end, the numbers ruled, and she'll be kept dry. Tash was Junior Champion 1x and 1x RGCH in 07, with very limited show appearances. Tash has bloomed into a fat dry yearling, and is staying put, to waddle-y to see the light of a show ring LOL

Chazberry Lane Gunnar Telisha (Telisha)-SOLD-
American Nubian, Sire Willow Run Valmont Gunnar Dam Willow Run Valmont Tasma
My repeat Gunnar/Tasma breeding produced a single doe kid, Telisha, who is a lovely doe in her own right, but totally different from full sister, Tasha. Long, sleek and dairy, she's almost the polar opposite of her deep powerful sister.

Chazberry Lane IDK My BFF Jill &
Chazberry Lane IDK My BFF Rose (Jill & Rose)- BOTH SOLD- - Rose is pictured
American Nubian, Sire Chazberry Lane Status Dmitri Dam Chazberry Lane Cera
Rose and Jill are the dairiest Nubians ever born on this farm. They have their tradeoffs with strengths and weaknesses, but they are both well-balanced, beautiful does that I'm incredibly excited about.
