Liktoria, better known as Licky has been Phyllis' pride and joy. Not only does she show well, she was also born to milk. Her sweet dispostion which she has passed on to her kids makes her a loving addition to our herd. Licky earned her star at the one day milk test at the ODGA state show in '04. Licky's dam is the 1998 National GCH 3-M Farms Lucy. Licky's 2004 buck kid, Chazberry Lane Prince Charles, is residing with the Basilwood herd, and her 2005 buck kid, Chazberry Lane Liktoria's Luke, is with the Jo-Bo-Ja Herd. Her 2005 doe kid, Luna, was retained. In 2005, Licky won most of her Champion Challenge classes, and took BDIS 1x. She was 1st place 4 year old, 1st place udder, 1st place udder overall and GCH at the 2005 Ohio State Fair. She was also part of the 2nd place Dam & Daughter and Best Herd at the 2005 Ohio State Fair. Licky freshened in 2006 with a single buck kid, Charlie, out of Doc, and was left home most of the show season. In 2007, Licky blessed us with another beautiful doe kid, Lilo, and was BOB and BDIS at the District IV Saanen Specialty. Overall in '07, Licky was 3x BOB, 1x BIS and 1x RGCH. Licky earned her SG designation as a 7 year old in 2008. 7th place Aged Doe at the 2008 National Show

Excess, better known as X was purchased at the 2004 ODGA Buckeye Sale. I had seen X a few months prior at the Ashland County Fair. Ex just walked across the pen to me and it was love at first sight. I just had to have her. Ex has defiantely become "my girl" She will tolerate others but prefers not to :) Ex is a very correct, stylish doe. Though not one of my biggest does, everything is where it should be. Ex placed first in her class at 9 shows. We took her to the Nationals in '04 and she became ill. I was ready to scratch her when she did a turn-around. With her milk production down due to not eating for a few days, and her udder not full on show day, Ex still made the cut and placed 12th in her class! Due to an unplanned breeding, neither of her kids were retained in 2005. Ex was the 1st place, 2nd udder 2 year old at the 2005 Ohio State Fair. Ex was bred to Doc for 2006 kids, but due to kidding complications, both were lost. However, Ex herself is as correct as ever, and won't be going anywhere any time soon. Ex finished her permanent championship in 2007, going 2x GCH and 3X RGCH. She was also RGCH behind Emma at the District II Saanen Specialty. 9th place 5&6 year old at the 2008 National Show

Emma is a huge doe. As a yearling, she was as large as the two year olds, and as a 2 year old she's the biggest doe in the barn. Emma was a 10 pound kid and just kept growing. She's tall, long and level with a beautiful, productive udder. Emma took GCH at the ODGA Buckeye Classic show as a kid, was 1st in her class 8x and 5th at the 2004 Nationals. Emma was the 1st place yearling, 1st place udder at the 2005 Ohio State Fair, as well as being 1/4 of the 1st place Saanen Herd. at the 2005 Ohio State Fair. As a 2nd freshening 2 year old, Emma has not disappointed. Though she excels in "powerhouse" and therefore lacks a bit in dairy character, Emma has done extremely well in 2006, and has taken RGCH 2x. Emma finished her permanent championship in 2007, and was GCH & BOB at the District II Saanen specialty in Butler, Pennsylvania. She also gave us a stunning doe kid, Connie, out of Tommy. Emma was 1x GCH 1X BOB and 5X RGCH in 2007. Emma finished her permanent championship at the first show (out of three :)) out this year. 11th place 4 year old at the 2008 National Show

Mo has the disposition of her dam, Maddie, and the style of her Sire, Duke. As a kid she placed 1st in her class 8x and 6th at the 2004 Nationals. She was also a part of our 7th place Jr Get of Sire class (with Emma and Carol) Mo is also a large, long, level 2004 kid that first freshened in April 2005, giving us 2 beautiful does. Mo has one of the nicest udders in the herd, high, wide, productive, and well-deserving of her E in mammary. Mo was the 2nd place yearling, 2nd place udder as well as 1/2 of the 1st place Dam & Daughter class at the 2005 Ohio State Fair. Mo freshened in 2006 with a single doe kid, and has amazed us all. She's managed to retain the milk production of her mother, while pulling together the rest of the scorecard that her mother does not. Mo has done extremely well in the show ring this year, going RGCH 2x and GCH 2x. In 2007, Mo gave us 3 beautiful buck kids out of Tommy, one of which went "back to his roots" to the King Farm herd in Ohio. Another is residing with the DK&A herd and the third is with a herd that we have no idea what the name is :) Mo, like her mother, is putting everything she has into milk production, and was not shown this year (can you say *skinny*? :)) Mo will be given a well-deserved year off in 2008, so she can lay around and get fat like her sister :) 07/08 Breeding - McQuitty Farm WMV Phantom

Carol placed behind Mo nearly every time out as a kid, but was almost undefeated as a dry yearling. She was GCH and BJDIS at the OVDGA show and GCH at the ODGA Buckeye Classic show under stiff competition. Carol kept up her winning streak as 1st place yearling and GCH Junior Saanen, as well as being part of the Best Saanen Herd at the 2005 Ohio State Fair. Carol freshened in 2006 with 2 doe kids out of Doc, and has gone GCH 2x, finishing her permanent championship as a 1st freshening 2 year old. Though different in style than her littermate sister, Mo, Carol excels in all points of the scorecard, blending a beautiful body with a high, wide, tight productive mammary. Wow, did Carol come in to her own this year! She was shown 8 times in 07 and was 2X GCH, 8X BOB and 6X BDIS! She's definitely Phyllis' pride and joy, and she has 2 beautiful up and coming daughters (Cindy, from Doc, and Carlita, from Tommy) that are following in mom's footsteps! Carol keeps getting prettier and more dairy every year, and her 4th year is no exception! 5th place 4 year old at the 2008 National Show

As a young kid, Luna was nothing special to look at. However, as time passes, she becomes more and more beautiful, and more and more like her mother. She did well in the show ring, in 2005, earning her dry leg as a senior kid. Luna freshened in 2006 better than we could have hoped for. A simply stunning combination of the best traits of both her sire and dam, Luna has done well in the show ring this year, and we're excited about her future. Her two buck kids, Chazberry Lane Lunatic Fringe and Chazberry Lane Red Ryder, have both been sold, with Fringe being part of the McQuitty Farm herd and Ryder being part of the Luhringview herd. Luna freshened with twin does out of Tommy in 2007, one, Layla, has been retained and the other, Lena, resides in Pennsylvania with the Copperflats herd. Luna is a striking image of her dam, and has done well in 2007, placing just behind her elder herdmates :) Luna was 4X GCH, 2X BOB and 1X RGCH in 2007, and was best udder at the District II Saanen Specialty. Luna, as a 3 year old 3rd freshener is still the same doe she was, only with more milk. Though not one of the tallest does in the barn, she's wide, open, and dairy with a well-attached, CAPACIOS mammary. Luna earned her SG designation this year, and is the first Chazberry Lane animal to do so! 15th Place 3 year old at the 2008 National Show

Daughter of the '06 National Premier sire, paternal half sister to the '06 Junior National Champion, and 3rd place milking yearling at the Nationals herself, Mo Doe, is almost a carbon copy of her littermate sister, with the added bonus of an amazing high, tight, productive mammary. Mo Doe freshened in May 2006, and didn't make her "debut" until the Buckeye Classic show, where she earned her first leg taking reserve behind a finished champion. She gave us 2 BEAUTIFUL does in 2007, QTip and QBall. Quasi was the 1st place 2 year old at the District II Saanen Specialty. Quasi finished her permanent championship at the SEODGA show by going GCH in both rings. She earned her milking star in '06 as a yearling. Quasi was the 16th place 3 year old milker at the 2008 National Show, standing behind Luna.

Daughter of the '06 National Premier sire, and paternal half sister to the '06 Junior National Champion, Me Mo, was a beautiful dry yearling, earning her first leg toward permanent championship at the OVDGA show in '06. Long, wide, level and smoothly blended, Me Mo has easily transitioned from an awkward kid into a stunning yearling. Me Mo is residing in Ohio and will hit the show rings next year as a first freshening 2 year old. Me Moe was brought to our farm in the fall of 2006 to be bred and then was never picked up again. The "owner" had lost interest in goats and eventually sent us her papers back. She was naturally a welcome re-addition to the herd :) Me Moe finished her permanent championship by going GCH at the SWODGA show and at the ODGA Buckeye Classic show. American Saanen, Sire Windsor Manor SK Don Juan Dam GCH Chazberry Lane Sweet Emotion
An amazingly long and powerful doe, Marishka is making her mark in the seemingly strong line of Mo progeny. Doing well in the show ring in 2006, Marishka has taken RGCH 1x. Marishka is being retained. Mishka kidded in 2007, and has done well in the show ring, but is too immature to compete with her older herd mates. Marishka was the 1st place yearling milker at the District II Saanen Specialty. Mishka wasn't what we'd expected her to be as a second freshening 2 year old. Sometime over the winter she got HUGE, and is now rivalling Emma for the biggest doe in the barn. Long, dairy and correct, Mishka has a high-producing udder that LOOKS half empty at a glance...until you milk her out and the milk just keeps coming and coming and coming...she milks down to absolutely NOTHING. She has certainly earned her place in our barn (and in our hearts!) 19th place 2 year old at the 2008 National Show

Cindy and her littermate sister, Drizzy started out small and rather unimpressive, but over time have grown, changed and bloomed into beatiful does. Cindy, as a dry yearling, easily earned her dry leg, and is looking more like Carol every day. We're exited to see her fresh, our first Doc daughter. Cindy was 1X GCH and 2X RGCH in 07. Pretty, pretty, pretty! If this is what we get out of Doc, we're gonna be using him a LOT more this year! Cindy is her mother, refined. Though she lacks extension of the fore, we have learned in the past that this is something that can and will come in time. We're terribly excited about Cindy's future. 17th place 2 year old milker at the 2008 National Show

Dummy strongly resembles her maternal granddam, Wallop, in her large, correct structure. She promises to be yet another beautiful Duke daughter. Dummy was 1x RGCH in 07. Dummy freshened out just as nice as we'd hoped - maybe better! With that socked-on Duke udder and the "all-round beautiful" influence from her dam's side, Dummy is our favored up-and-coming doe of 08! 9th place yearling milker at the 2008 National Show

Winner of the esteemed "favorite Chazberry Lane Saanen name of the year award," Weezie was a looker when she first hit the ground, but cemented her place in our hearts when we almost lost her after disbudding. She went into anaphylactic shock and THEN had a reaction to the epinephrine shot that was administered to save her life. After a long, tough night, and several iffy days afterward, Weezie came through on the other side a small, yet tough little cookie that we're very proud bears the Chazberry Lane herd name. 13th place Junior kid at the 2008 National Show
