| Chazberry Lane started with 3 Nubians in 2001. A single LaMancha was added in 2002, and the Saanens followed a few months later. A Boer buck was added in 2004 (and left in 2005 :)), and grades/crosses/experimentals came along in 2005. As if 3 dairy breeds weren't enough... :) | |
The 2007 show season was a good one, with Chazberry Lane animals accumulating 36 Grand Champion wins, 38 Reserve Grand Champion wins, 22 Best of Breed wins and 8 Best in Show wins, with 20 official legs and 4 newly finished does. Linear appraisal went well, too, with 7 of our animals appraising 90 or better, with the herd average across all breeds being 87.5.
